Senior Java Developer

Simpaisa is looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, ensuring seamless integration between server-side logic and user-facing interfaces

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to understand and refine project requirements
• Write well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code. 
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practice
• Implement server-side logic using Java (Spring Boot).

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant degree.
• 8+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot (Java) and MySQL.
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)).
• Familiarity with build tools (Maven/Gradle) and continuous integration/delivery
