The Assistant Manager Revenue will be responsible for end-to-end revenue accounting and reconciliation processes, ensuring the integrity, completeness, and accuracy of revenue data across automated billing platforms, payment gateways, and bank settlement accounts. The role will play a critical part in safeguarding revenue through robust controls, detailed analytics, and compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure revenue is recognized accurately and in full compliance with IFRS, including complex fee structures and multi-currency transactions.
  • Maintain and control revenue recognition logic within automated billing and transaction systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable indirect tax regulations (e.g., GST/WHT) and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Perform and oversee daily and monthly reconciliations between, Internal transaction ledgers, Payment gateways and processors, Wallet balances and Bank settlement accounts
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve variances promptly to ensure zero revenue leakage.
  • Strengthen and document reconciliation procedures and internal control frameworks around revenue and settlements.
  • Prepare monthly revenue reports, trend analysis, and variance explanations for management.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting of revenue based on transaction volumes, pricing models, and growth assumptions.
  • Monitor key revenue KPIs and highlight risks, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with product, technology, and business teams to ensure revenue flows, accounting logic, and reporting systems are correctly integrated with the platform architecture.
  • Support enhancements to billing engines, reconciliation tools, and reporting automation.
  • Prepare detailed revenue schedules, supporting workings, and reconciliation evidence for internal and external audits.
  • Act as a key point of contact for auditors and regulators on revenue-related matters.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of automated merchant payouts and settlement cycles.
  • Monitor end-to-end transaction lifecycle from customer payment through merchant settlement.
  • Lead and contribute to high-impact ad-hoc assignments and strategic finance initiatives as directed by senior management.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelors in finance or accounting
  • ICMA/ACCA/CA Qualified is highly preferred.
  • 5–6 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 2 years focused on revenue management or audit, preferably within a tech or fintech environment.
  • Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, dashboards).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI is an asset.
  • High attention to detail for managing large datasets, strong analytical reasoning, and the ability to meet tight month-end deadlines.
