LOCATION: REMOTE or HYBRID (Must reside in the Jacksonville, FL. area)

A respected law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their Coverage and Bad Faith practice group. This position offers the flexibility to work fully remotely or in a hybrid arrangement. Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft coverage opinions.
  • Handle Examinations Under Oath (EUOs).
  • Draft and litigate declaratory judgment actions.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
  • Assist with trial preparation, depositions, and pre-suit matters including settlement negotiations.
  • Manage multiple claims and maintain organized case files.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in Florida and/or Georgia.
  • 3+ years of litigation experience required.
  • Ability to commute to the firms office in Jacksonville for occasional onsite meetings.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Must meet the firms billing expectations.
