Silent Falcon delivers precision remote sensing, high-resolution digital twins, and AI-powered analytics to transform pavement inspection and infrastructure management. Our proprietary PavPrint and Fly Safe Map platforms combine geospatial intelligence (GeoAI) and generative AI to deliver real-time, full-surface insights for airports, highways, and other critical infrastructure.

Were seeking an entry-level AI/ML engineer to join our in-office team. This is an hourly role (part-time or full-time) that includes weekend shifts. You will gain hands-on experience with generative AI and GeoAI applications, working on computer vision, spatial modeling, and predictive analytics. Youll be mentored by senior engineers while contributing directly to the models and pipelines that power Silent Falcons technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with training, testing and fine-tuning AI/ML models for remote sending data (imagery, 3D scans, point clouds).
  • Support development of GenAI tools for reporting, insights, and automation.
  • Work on GeoAI pipelines that process georeferenced datasets for mapping, temporal change detection, and digital twins.
  • Annotate, clean, and validate data to support model accuracy and reliability.
  • Run experiments and contribute to performance evaluation of computer vision and geospatial models.
  • Document workflows, maintain datasets, and assist in deployment preparation.
  • Participate in weekend coverage schedules to ensure data and models run smoothly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Geospatial Science, or related field.
  • Programming in Python and familiarity with ML libraries.
  • Understanding of image processing and an interest in remote sensing/ GIS tools.
  • Strong attention to detail in data preparation and annotation.
  • Interest in generative AI and how it can be applied to infrastructure/ spatial analytics.
  • Proactive and resourceful with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills for documenting work and collaborating across teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
