1st Shift Warehouse Worker

14269 1st Shift Warehouse Worker-Industrial, Inver Grove Heights, MN, 8 months contract
Sigma Inc. is currently looking for a 1st shift Warehouse Worker who will be working in a manufacturing environment that creates animal-related products

Shift : 1st. Shift: Monday -- Friday 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Client Interview : In-person interviews- Directions to the client site is attached to the requisition. important that candidates are available to interview and to start work as soon as possible.

**Qualifications:

• Forklift certified/experienced; able to lift 50lb bags when order pulling**
• **Steel Toed Shoes Required.**
• **Temp to perm: "Yes " depending upon openings at that time**

Responsibilities:

• Loads, and unloads materials using forklift or other equipment.
• Counts and weighs UPPS materials or containers & records information on forms.
• Fill orders, package UPS goods, load trucks, move stock within a warehouse or transport materials to and from production areas.
• Responsible for cleanliness of the warehouse (i.e. sweeping floors, cleaning up spills/broken bags/product messes), organization, etc...).

Knowledge:

• General knowledge of Safety and Environmental procedures with the ability to follow them.

Education :

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
