Sigma Systems is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to support the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine and its active patient clinic in Boston.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing
  • Expose and process radiographs
  • Conduct periodontal assessments and oral cancer screenings
  • Administer local anesthesia and therapeutic agents as permitted
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment plans
  • Review and update medical histories and clinical records
  • Maintain OSHA, infection control, sterilization, and HIPAA standards
  • Set up and break down operatories and treatment areas
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and clinical personnel to deliver exceptional patient care

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree, Technical Degree, or equivalent Dental Hygiene education
  • Current Massachusetts Dental Hygienist License
  • 1+ years of Dental Hygienist experience
  • Experience with radiographs, periodontal treatment, patient education, and infection control
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to meet immunization and health clearance requirements
