2nd Shift Production Operator

14270 2nd Shift Production Operator, St. Joseph, MO 3+ months
Sigma Inc is currently looking for a Production Operator located in ST. Joseph, MO

Shift : MON-FRI 02 PM - 10 PM or 6 PM TO 6 AM! Also occasional Saturdays!

Steel-toe shoes required!

Pay Rate: $20.52/hr
Physically able to lift to 50 lbs. and wear proper PPE. Steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.

Job Description:-

• Repetitive machine or process operation following prescribed routine.
• Must be able to follow direction & perform adjustments to processes or machinery. Records & reports production numbers.
• Proficiency in usually reached in a few months. Operation of equipment to include, but not limited to the following manufacturing equipment: Packer, Palletizer, Forklift, Mixer, Pellet Mill, etc...

Skills:

• **GED or High School diploma preferred but not required**
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions,short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and in group situations.
• Ability to understand, record, and verbalize detailed information accurately.
• Ability to be observant, accurate, and capable of following directions.
• Excellent Punctuality. Solid communication skills.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Flexible.
• Strong attention to detail. Basic math skills.

Knowledge:

• Knowledge and compliance of all safety guidelines.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent Steel Toed Shoes Required.
