Sigma Systems is seeking an Incubation Technician to support a leading animal health and biological production facility in Gainesville, GA. This hands-on position plays a critical role in supporting incubation operations, inventory management, sterilization activities, and laboratory production processes in a highly regulated, biosecure environment.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with warehouse, manufacturing, production, agricultural, laboratory support, or inventory experience who enjoy physical work and take pride in maintaining quality and safety standards.

- Sunday: 6:30 AM - 10:30 AM
- Monday: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- Tuesday: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Wednesday: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- Thursday: 6:30 AM - 1:30 PM
- Friday: 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM
What You'll Do
- Support incubation and biological production operations by receiving, organizing, processing, and transporting materials.
- Assist with racking, candling, handling, and movement of eggs throughout the production process.
- Operate within strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, and quality records.
- Clean and sanitize incubators, carts, equipment, and work areas.
- Assist with warehouse inventory activities and material movement.
- Unload weekly deliveries using pallet jacks and material handling equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and facility upkeep.
- Support sterilization and waste management operations to maintain clean and stocked production areas.
- Learn and operate specialized incubation equipment and monitoring systems.
- Follow all safety, quality, and biosecurity requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic computer skills required; Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
- Warehouse, manufacturing, agricultural, inventory control, laboratory support, or production experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Regular lifting of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift boxes to shoulder height for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and material handling.
- Ability to move heavy carts throughout the facility.
- Good visual accuracy and attention to detail in varying lighting conditions.
Important Biosecurity Requirement
This facility maintains one of the highest levels of avian biosecurity in the industry.
Candidates cannot own, raise, care for, or have routine contact with birds or poultry of any kind, including:
- Chickens
- Turkeys
- Ducks
- Geese
- Pet birds
- Backyard flocks
- Commercial poultry operations
Any contact with birds may result in temporary restrictions from entering the facility due to strict biosecurity protocols.
