Sigma Systems Inc. is seeking a Retail Store Temp to support one of Highmark's Highmark Direct Medicare Centers in Pittsburgh, PA.
Due to the governmental nature of this position, only U.S. Citizens are eligible to apply.
This is an excellent opportunity for customer service, healthcare, administrative, hospitality, banking, or retail professionals looking to gain experience with one of the region's leading health insurance organizations. Paid training is provided before the Medicare enrollment season begins.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for visitors, you'll help create a welcoming, professional experience for individuals seeking information about Medicare and other health insurance options. Working alongside licensed Medicare Advisors, you'll ensure customers are greeted promptly, appointments run smoothly, and the center operates efficiently.
This is not a sales position. Instead, you'll focus on customer service, scheduling, administrative support, and creating an exceptional experience for every visitor.
What You'll Do
- Welcome customers as they arrive at the Highmark Direct Medicare Center.
- Assist visitors by identifying their needs and connecting them with the appropriate team member.
- Schedule consultations with licensed Medicare Advisors.
- Create and maintain customer records within the CRM system.
- Answer general questions and provide outstanding customer service.
- Coordinate daily appointment flow and communicate expected wait times.
- Support community events, Medicare educational seminars, and wellness activities hosted by the center.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting customer environment.
- Monitor inventory of brochures, forms, refreshments, and office supplies.
- Provide daily operational updates and administrative support to store leadership.

Training & Schedule
- Four weeks of paid training
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Assignment begins in late August/early September and continues through early December
