Executive Director, HR Business Partner (Confidential Client)

We are partnering with a large, complex organization in the Greater Boston area seeking a senior Human Resources leader to support executive and operational teams in a highly regulated environment.
This role will serve as a strategic HR Business Partner, aligning workforce strategy with business objectives across a multi-site, service-driven organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in organizational effectiveness, employee relations, and leadership support within environments that require strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior and executive leadership to develop and execute workforce and organizational strategies
- Drive initiatives related to employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness
- Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, and policy interpretation
- Support organizational change initiatives, including restructuring, transformation, and process improvement efforts
- Collaborate with HR functional teams to align programs such as compensation, talent management, and workforce planning with business needs
- Influence leadership decision-making through data-driven insights and workforce analytics
- Lead and mentor HR team members while promoting a high-performing, collaborative culture
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR Business Partner or HR leadership roles
- Experience supporting large, complex, multi-site organizations
- Strong background in employee relations, organizational development, and workforce strategy
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive business outcomes through HR initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, or similar)
- Background supporting unionized workforces or labor relations
- Experience with enterprise HR systems (e.g., Workday or similar platforms)
- Exposure to change management methodologies and large-scale transformation initiatives
