Shift Schedule : This is a 2/2/3 12-hour schedule. 5:45pm - 6:15am
Job Summary :
Sigma Systems is seeking a Filling Technician I to support vaccine manufacturing operations for our client. This role will perform production and process support activities associated with the automated filling of vaccines while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and sterile manufacturing standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, production, equipment operation, and documentation within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vaccine filling and production support activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Operate automated manufacturing and filling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support equipment readiness, maintenance activities, and facility requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
- Complete production documentation, batch records, and required paperwork accurately.
- Perform basic inventory transactions and material handling activities.
- Monitor process performance indicators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate production needs, progress, and issues with team members and supervisors.
- Escalate process concerns, safety issues, or equipment problems as needed.
- Follow GMP, HSE, Lean Manufacturing principles, and company procedures.
- Support additional projects and duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience OR Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or regulated environment preferred.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete accurate documentation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience operating automated equipment is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GMP, sterile manufacturing, cleanroom operations, or pharmaceutical production.
- Experience with filling, packaging, processing, or automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience completing batch records or production documentation.
- Knowledge of inventory systems and basic manufacturing processes.
