Sigma Systems is currently looking for a Senior Program Coordinator to work onsite in Boston, MA.
Hybrid 1 day/week in office
35 hours per week, 7 hours per day
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Senior Assistant Registrar, the Senior Program Coordinator ensures accuracy of records and adherence to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. T
- his position will support functions across multiple areas within the Office of the University Registrar which impact enrollment, registration, graduation, records integrity, academic scheduling, and reporting.
- This position will be cross-train into related organizational areas to provide support at peak times. The Senior Program Coordinator works relatively independently but may seek assistance for complex tasks.
- They are expected to set priorities in consultation with others and to maintain confidentiality of information.
Essential Functions:
- Update academic records within the student information system based on appropriate authorization and supporting documentation; maintain student records including, but not limited to, student demographics, academic programs, course adds, course drops, leave of absence / withdrawals, and grades
- Process email communications and workflow ticket requests as needed for the areas within the OUR
- Read, interpret, understand and apply policies to remediate complex student and university issues, ensuring compliance with office, university, state and federal policies, rules, and regulations
- Process transcript requests and respond to transcript related inquiries
- Research, audit, and maintain historical records for transcript production and maintenance of the student record
- Process and update applications for conferral and award degrees for graduating students.
- Maintain and correspond with students, advisors, department chairs, deans, directors, and key staff members to properly evaluate student records for completion purposes
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues presented by a variety of constituents, including students and university staff
- Maintain confidential academic files in proper working order in accordance with current FERPA and university procedures.
- Contribute to the overall success of the OUR by performing all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate; with internal and external customers;
- Be a methodical business process or systems thinker and problem solver;
- Ability to maintain a high level of data entry accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail;
- Ability to understand and analyze data; recognize anomalies and apply updates methodically;
- Ability to compose clear documentation;
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, establish priorities, and perform well under pressure;
