Job Summary
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Officer to manage and grow the digital presence of a reputable pharmacy and healthcare brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing social media platforms, driving audience engagement, and increasing brand visibility across digital channels.
The successful candidate must have experience managing social media for healthcare, pharmacy, wellness, or related brands, with strong knowledge of content strategy, community engagement, and digital marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing and brand objectives.
- Manage and oversee all social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X (Twitter), and other relevant channels.
- Create engaging, informative, and visually appealing content tailored to healthcare and pharmacy audiences.
- Plan and maintain a consistent content calendar for campaigns, promotions, awareness initiatives, and product visibility.
- Visit pharmacy branches and head office as required to capture content, conduct live coverage, and create engaging digital materials.
- Design and publish graphics, short videos, reels, captions, and promotional content.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices to improve engagement and reach.
- Respond promptly to comments, messages, and customer inquiries across all social platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote products, healthcare campaigns, and brand initiatives.
- Track, analyze, and report social media performance metrics and campaign effectiveness.
- Support digital advertising campaigns and audience targeting initiatives where necessary.
- Ensure all content complies with healthcare communication standards and company guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong online community engagement and customer relationships.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 – 4 years experience as a Social Media Officer, Digital Content Creator, or similar role.
- Prior experience working within the pharmacy, healthcare, wellness, or FMCG industry is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or other content creation tools.
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and content development skills.
- Ability to create engaging video and photo content for social platforms.
- Strong understanding of audience engagement and digital marketing strategies.
- Good communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
