Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development & Sales Intern to join our growing team within the HR consulting industry. The ideal candidate will support business development and sales initiatives by identifying potential clients, nurturing leads, and assisting in promoting the company's HR consulting services to organizations across various sectors.
This role is ideal for a motivated professional looking to build a strong career in sales, business development, and HR consulting services. The successful candidate will gain practical exposure to client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic sales processes within a professional consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and research potential client organizations that may require HR consulting, recruitment, outsourcing, or workforce management services.

Generate and qualify sales leads through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking activities.

Support the sales team in developing and executing business development strategies to expand the organization's client base.

Schedule and coordinate meetings, consultations, and presentations with prospective clients.

Assist in preparing sales proposals, service presentations, and client documentation.

Maintain and update client and prospect records in the company's CRM or internal database.

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities within target industries.

Follow up with prospective clients to nurture relationships and advance opportunities through the sales pipeline.

Collaborate with the recruitment and consulting teams to understand client needs and align solutions accordingly.

Assist in preparing weekly and monthly sales activity reports and performance updates.

Represent the organization professionally during client interactions, meetings, and business engagements.

Support marketing initiatives such as events, webinars, campaigns, and digital outreach aimed at attracting potential clients.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Economics, or a related discipline.

1 – 3 years of experience in sales, business development, client relations, or customer-facing roles (internship or entry-level roles included).

Previous experience in consulting, HR services, recruitment, or professional services sales will be an added advantage.

Strong interest in sales, client acquisition, and consulting services.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.

Strong research and prospecting capabilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage.
