Fashion Designer Job Description:

Our fashion brand, located in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria, is seeking a talented and passionate Fashion Designer to join our team. As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing unique and trendy clothing pieces that align with our brand's aesthetic and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and create designs for our clothing collections, including sketches, patterns, and prototypes

- Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends and incorporate them into designs

- Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop new concepts and ideas

- Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and create designs that cater to our target audience

- Source and select fabrics and materials for production

- Oversee the production process, ensuring quality and timely delivery of designs

- Manage and maintain design records and portfolios

- Adhere to brand standards and guidelines in all designs and collections.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Fashion Designer

- Strong understanding of design principles, including color, shape, and texture

- Excellent sketching and pattern-making skills

- Knowledge of garment construction and production processes

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.

Contract Details:

This is a full-time position with a very attractive salary and commission structure. Working hours are from Monday to Saturday, 10am-6pm.
