*Job Summary*

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our diagnostic healthcare team in Ikorodu, Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a range of laboratory tests to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. This role is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented and passionate about laboratory excellence. Accommodation will be provided to the successful candidate.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform routine and advanced laboratory tests on various specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.).

* Analyze results, ensure accuracy, and report findings to physicians.

* Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

* Ensure proper documentation, storage, and handling of samples and records.

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with laboratory standards.

* Participate in internal quality control and external quality assurance programs.

* Ensure compliance with all medical and laboratory safety protocols.

* Maintain adequate inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.

*Qualifications & Requirements*

* Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from a recognized institution.

* Must possess a current practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).

* Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory.

* Proficiency in laboratory software and equipment usage.

* Strong organizational and analytical skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.

* Must be able to live and work in Ikorodu accommodation is provided for this role.
