We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team, overseeing operations across our spa and production industry sectors. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in risk management and compliance, along with relevant certifications. This role is critical in ensuring that both our spa and production operations adhere to all regulatory requirements and internal policies, while identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the business.

Responsibilities

Risk Management:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive risk management policies and procedures across the spa and production units.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify, analyze, and prioritize potential risks (financial, operational, safety, etc.) that could affect the organization.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure effective execution.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management processes, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Prepare and present risk reports to senior management, providing recommendations on risk control measures.

Compliance Oversight:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations related to the spa and production industry (e.g., health and safety, environmental laws, labor laws).
  • Develop and update compliance policies and procedures, ensuring they are effectively communicated and enforced across the organization.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to internal and external compliance standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that affect the spa and production sectors, and adjust compliance strategies accordingly.
  • Manage any compliance issues or violations, including investigations, corrective actions, and reporting to relevant authorities.

Training and Awareness:

  • Design and deliver training programs to employees on risk management, compliance policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness throughout the organization, encouraging employees to report potential risks and violations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of all risk assessments, compliance audits, and related activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management, outlining risk exposure, compliance status, and recommended actions.
  • Ensure proper record-keeping of all compliance-related incidents and actions taken. Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Work closely with senior management, legal advisors, and external auditors to ensure the organizations compliance and risk management practices are robust and effective.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in addressing complex compliance and risk management issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), or equivalent are required.

Experience:

  • 4-6 years of experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in both spa and production or related industries.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing compliance programs and mitigating risks in a multi-sector environment.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, compliance audits, and regulatory reporting.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards for both the spa operations and production sectors.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and assess risks and compliance issues.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide teams effectively.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring thorough documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with compliance management software.
