Job Title: Experienced Urologist

Location: Abuja, Nigeria

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Urologist to join our team. As a Urologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating urological disorders, performing surgical procedures, and providing high-quality patient care. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a growing patient base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat urological conditions and disorders.
  • Perform surgical procedures including but not limited to TURP, HoLEP, PCNL, Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy, RIRS, Kidney Transplant, and Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy.
  • Provide consultation and follow-up care to patients.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities for emergencies (approximately 2-3 times per month).
  • Mentor and train residents and junior staff members.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified urologist or equivalent (e.g., FRCS, FWACS).
  • Minimum of 5 years post-MBBS training in surgery/urology.
  • Specialist Urologist qualified for registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
  • Proficiency or ability to be trained in advanced laparoscopic procedures.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in performing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy and laparoscopic donor nephrectomy is essential.
  • Proficiency in other urological procedures as required.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Routine work schedule of 6 to 8 hours per day, Monday to Saturday.
  • On-call responsibilities for emergencies.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 per month, negotiable based on experience and skills.
  • Accommodation provided.
  • Driver for commuting to work and shopping.
