Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Production Manager with extensive experience in the PVC extrusion industry. The successful candidate will oversee production operations, ensuring efficient machine setups, quality control, and workforce management. This role requires a proactive leader with strong technical expertise and the ability to manage a large team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Management:

• Oversee the startup and operation of PVC extruders, including setting machines to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.

• Manage the change of dies and adjust machine settings to maintain high-quality output.

• Ensure compliance with industry quality norms for PVC pipes and other products.

• Work closely with quality assurance teams to monitor and improve product standards.

• Lead and manage a large workforce, providing training, guidance, and performance management.

• Cultivate a collaborative and efficient work environment.

• Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs on PVC extrusion machines as needed.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in extrusion technology and incorporate best practices.

• Use ERP systems and MS Office for production tracking, inventory management, and reporting.

• Prepare detailed reports on production performance, efficiency, and quality metrics.

Qualifications:

• Education: HND or bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.

• Experience: 10-15 years of experience in a supervisory role within the PVC extrusion industry.

• Skills:
• Hands-on experience with PVC machine startup, die changes, and setting adjustments for optimal production.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a large team.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Knowledge of quality standards and norms for PVC products.
