About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, intelligent, and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and strategic support to the CEO of a leading energy company based in Abuja. The ideal candidate must have a background in law (LLB, BL), with proven experience supporting C-level executives and handling confidential and high-stake matters. Prior experience within the energy, oil & gas, or power sector will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities

Provide executive-level administrative support to the CEO, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.

Prepare confidential reports, correspondence, presentations, and legal/commercial documentation.

Act as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, including clients, partners, government bodies, and board members.

Manage and prioritize an extremely busy calendar, scheduling internal and external meetings, appointments, and strategic engagements.

Draft, review, and manage legal, regulatory, and compliance-related documents as needed.

Support the CEO in project tracking, research, follow-ups, and timely execution of business initiatives.

Coordinate logistics and content for board meetings, AGMs, and other strategic gatherings.

Handle confidential business and personal matters with discretion and utmost professionalism.

Represent the office of the CEO in internal and external meetings when required.

Monitor tasks, deadlines, and deliverables for strategic projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Support business development, public relations, and investor engagement activities.

Ensure prompt communication flow between the CEOs office and all relevant departments.
Requirements & Qualifications

LLB and BL from a recognized institution; additional certifications (e.g. MBA, PMP) are an advantage.

Minimum of 7 - 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years supporting C-suite executives.

Strong understanding or experience within the energy, oil & gas, or power sector.

Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and digital productivity tools.

High level of integrity, discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.

Ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and deliver in fast-paced environments.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with top-level executives and stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with attention to detail and ability to take initiative without constant supervision.
