JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly driven, commercially focused, and strategic Business Development Executive to join a leading healthcare and wellness organization in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying and developing strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and increasing client acquisition opportunities across the healthcare and wellness sector. The role requires a strong understanding of business development, client relationship management, healthcare market dynamics, and strategic sales execution.
The successful candidate must possess excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to develop and execute growth strategies that drive profitability and market expansion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and corporate relationships within the healthcare and wellness industry.
- Develop and implement marketing, communication, and product development initiatives to maximize business opportunities and increase organizational visibility.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing structures, service gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Recommend and implement strategies to improve customer retention, increase market share, and strengthen competitive positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate organizations, HMOs, healthcare providers, referral partners, and key stakeholders.
- Schedule, attend, and lead business meetings, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients and partners.
- Prepare business proposals, Request-for-Proposals (RFPs), partnership documents, and strategic reports.
- Monitor sales and marketing performance metrics and provide data-driven insights to management.
- Develop sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and periodic business performance reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Drive customer engagement initiatives and maintain a high level of client relationship management.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning sessions.
- Ensure timely follow-up on leads, negotiations, and business opportunities.
- Represent the organization professionally at industry events, conferences, networking forums, and business engagements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field from a reputable institution.
Professional Qualification:
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- A background in healthcare, medicine, wellness, or hospital administration is an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years' proven experience in Business Development, Sales, Marketing, or Corporate Relations.
- Prior experience within a healthcare, wellness, hospital, HMO, pharmaceutical, or related healthcare environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving revenue and business growth targets.
