Salary: ₦150,000 Basic Pay + Commission (Performance-Based)
Reports To: Sales Manager / Branch Sales Lead

ROLE SUMMARY

The Direct Sales Agent (DSA) will be responsible for driving customer acquisition and account onboarding for a leading financial institution. The role requires active field engagement, customer education, and consistent achievement of monthly account opening and funding targets while ensuring compliance with banking standards and operational procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify, approach, and onboard potential customers for new account openings
• Educate customers on available banking products and services
• Guide customers through end-to-end account opening processes
• Ensure accounts meet minimum funding and activation requirements
• Drive customer transactions and account usage on a monthly basis
• Achieve assigned monthly acquisition and funding targets
• Maintain accurate records of customer onboarding activities
• Represent the bank professionally in all customer interactions
• Ensure compliance with all banking operational and regulatory guidelines
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of OND, HND, or BSc in any discipline
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, or field operations is an added advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Target-driven and performance-oriented mindset
• Basic negotiation and persuasion skills
• Basic understanding of banking products (advantageous)
• Ability to work independently and within a team structure
• Willingness to engage in field-based work

COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

• Basic Salary: ₦150,000 (payable upon achieving 85% of monthly target)
• Commission: Up to ₦50,000 monthly based on performance
• Monthly Target: 580 funded accounts

ACCOUNT PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum deposit threshold: ₦5,000 per account (4 transactions monthly required)
• Minimum deposit threshold: ₦1,000 per account (2 transactions monthly required)
