The Opportunity

This is a high-impact role for an AI/ML Engineer passionate about building real-world, production-grade systems.

You will design and develop the core intelligence layer of ZenroxIQ, including:

  • Computer vision models for equipment identification

  • AI-driven pricing engines

  • Predictive procurement algorithms

  • Automated compliance and verification systems

Your work will directly influence how healthcare providers source, evaluate, and purchase medical equipment at scale.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise computer vision models for visual equipment search, including image recognition and specification extraction

  • Build dynamic pricing and optimisation algorithms for real-time benchmarking across suppliers and markets

  • Design and deploy predictive procurement models (60–90 day demand forecasting)

  • Implement supplier matching and ranking algorithms using performance scoring logic

  • Integrate and orchestrate third-party AI services (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud Vision)

  • Establish robust ML lifecycle processes (training, evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement)

  • Work with complex datasets including supplier catalogues, images, pricing data, and transaction history

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to deploy scalable, production-ready ML systems


What You Bring

  • Minimum 3+ years' hands-on experience developing and deploying machine learning models

  • Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn

  • Experience in computer vision, image recognition, or object detection

  • Background in recommendation systems, ranking models, or matching algorithms

  • Solid understanding of time-series forecasting and predictive analytics

  • Experience deploying and scaling ML models in production environments

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders


Preferred / Ideal Background

  • Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or pricing optimisation platforms

  • Familiarity with NLP techniques for document or specification extraction

  • Exposure to healthcare, supply chain, or procurement systems

  • Experience integrating commercial AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud Vision)

  • Knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and model evaluation pipelines
