Salary Range: ₦160,000 – ₦230,000 Monthly + (Performance-Based)

Position Summary

The Sales Executive will drive business growth by engaging contractors, engineers, architects, developers, and procurement decision-makers within the construction sector. The role requires strong industry networks, independent field execution, structured reporting, and the ability to close high-value B2B deals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the construction sector.

  • Build and manage strategic relationships with contractors, engineers, architects, project managers, developers, and procurement teams.

  • Promote and sell premium waterproofing materials, luxury kitchen faucets, and high-end bathroom fittings.

  • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical briefings.

  • Position company products at early project planning stages.

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms, closing high-value and bulk supply transactions.

  • Achieve and exceed assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.

2. Market Intelligence & Strategic Positioning

  • Monitor industry developments, competitor activity, and upcoming construction projects.

  • Identify bidding and partnership opportunities.

  • Provide actionable market feedback to management.

  • Contribute to pricing, product positioning, and strategic market decisions.

3. Reporting & Performance Accountability

  • Submit structured daily sales and activity reports.

  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and follow-up records.

  • Provide weekly performance updates during strategy meetings.

  • Maintain CRM records and customer documentation.

  • Ensure timely follow-ups and relationship continuity.

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM): Field operations, client meetings, site visits, remote administrative tasks.

  • Saturday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Office-based strategy meetings, performance reviews, and team alignment sessions.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years proven sales experience in construction, building materials, architectural finishing products, or engineering supplies.

  • B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Building Technology, or related discipline.

  • Strong professional network within Nigeria's construction ecosystem.

  • Proven track record of closing high-value B2B deals.

  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Self-motivated, independent, and highly disciplined.

  • Proficient in CRM tools and structured reporting.

Compensation Structure

Total Monthly Package: ₦160,000 – ₦230,000+ (Performance-Based)

  • Basic Salary: ₦120,000 – ₦150,000

  • Transportation Allowance: ₦10,000 – ₦30,000

  • Performance-based commission and incentives based on targets achieved

  • Timely submission of daily activity reports.

  • Strong conversion ratio from leads to closed deals.
