Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Executive with strong, hands-on experience selling Zoho software solutions to drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, account expansion, and consultative solution selling.

The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of client business processes and the ability to translate operational needs into tailored Zoho-based solutions that deliver measurable business value. This role requires strong B2B sales expertise, independent deal-closing capability, and a consultative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities for Zoho solutions across multiple industries.

  • Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.

  • Sell Zoho products such as Zoho CRM, Books, People, Inventory, Projects, Mail, Analytics, and other Zoho ecosystem tools.

  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline while consistently achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

  • Conduct market and industry research to identify new verticals, customer needs, and partnership opportunities.

Client Engagement & Solution Design

  • Assess client business processes and recommend suitable Zoho solutions aligned with operational and strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate with implementation and technical teams to develop solution blueprints and configuration requirements.

  • Lead requirement-gathering sessions and coordinate product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) engagements.

  • Provide consultative support throughout the sales and onboarding process to ensure client success and satisfaction.

Account Management

  • Manage and grow existing client accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and solution expansion.

  • Build strong, long-term client relationships and ensure high customer retention.

  • Track renewals, subscription upgrades, and contract expansions in line with revenue targets.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare accurate sales proposals, forecasts, presentations, and performance reports.

  • Maintain detailed lead, opportunity, and customer records using Zoho CRM (preferred).

  • Share insights on customer feedback, competitor activity, and market trends with management to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • 5–7 years of proven experience selling Zoho products (CRM, Books, People, Inventory, Projects, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of the Zoho ecosystem, licensing models, and solution capabilities.

  • Demonstrated experience conducting product demonstrations and client presentations.

  • Strong B2B sales expertise with the ability to independently close deals.

  • Solid understanding of business operations, workflows, and automation processes.

General Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related discipline.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Prior experience selling SaaS, cloud solutions, or business automation tools is an added advantage.

  • Proficiency in Zoho CRM for lead and pipeline management is preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Lead-to-deal conversion rate.

  • Revenue growth from new and existing accounts.

  • Customer satisfaction, retention, and renewal rates.

  • Accuracy of pipeline management and sales reporting.
