Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: ₦120,000 – ₦160,000 Monthly
- Weekly Transport Allowance: ₦10,000 – ₦25,000 (paid every Friday)
- Commission: Attractive, performance-based earnings tied to revenue and deal closures
- Total Earnings Potential: Highly competitive with strong upside based on performance
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Sales Executive to drive revenue growth within the construction and building materials sector. This is a field-intensive role focused on engaging key stakeholders across active project sites and influencing product adoption at early stages.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience selling construction materials or finishing products, with the ability to build relationships, close deals, and consistently exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Execution
- Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities across the construction value chain
- Actively engage contractors, architects, engineers, developers, and procurement teams
- Promote and sell products such as waterproofing solutions, kitchen fittings, and bathroom fixtures
- Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
- Influence product specification at early project stages
- Negotiate pricing and close bulk/high-value transactions
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
2. Market Intelligence & Opportunity Identification
- Track construction trends, competitor activities, and upcoming projects
- Identify tender, bidding, and partnership opportunities
- Provide market insights to support pricing and go-to-market strategies
- Support expansion into new markets and client segments
3. Reporting & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and client records
- Submit daily activity reports and weekly performance updates
- Ensure timely follow-ups and consistent client engagement
- Track leads from prospecting to closure with clear documentation
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM): Field visits, client meetings, site inspections
- Saturday (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM): Strategy sessions, reporting, and team alignment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Building Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' sales experience in construction, building materials, or related industry
- Strong network within Nigeria's construction ecosystem
- Proven ability to close high-value B2B deals
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and structured reporting systems
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven, field environment
