ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a highly creative, digitally savvy, and resourceful Creative Media & Content Coordinator to develop, produce, and manage high-quality multimedia content across digital and traditional communication platforms.
The successful candidate will combine strong creative capabilities with strategic communication expertise to produce compelling visual, written, photographic, and video content that strengthens brand identity, communicates organizational impact, supports fundraising and advocacy initiatives, and drives audience engagement.
The role requires a proactive professional who can manage multiple creative projects, collaborate effectively with internal teams, and transform complex programmes, activities, and achievements into engaging stories that resonate with stakeholders, partners, donors, volunteers, beneficiaries, and the wider public.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Content Creation & Multimedia Storytelling
- Develop and produce engaging multimedia content for social media, websites, newsletters, campaigns, presentations, and other communication platforms.
- Create high-quality graphics, videos, photographs, animations, written content, and other creative assets.
- Develop compelling stories that communicate organizational programmes, impact, achievements, and human-interest stories.
- Capture and document organizational activities, events, community interventions, and programmes through photography and videography.
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for various digital platforms.
- Develop creative concepts and storytelling approaches aligned with organizational objectives.
2. Social Media & Digital Content Management
- Develop and manage content calendars across relevant social media platforms.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content in line with approved communication strategies.
- Monitor social media trends, platform updates, audience behaviour, and emerging content formats.
- Track content performance and audience engagement using relevant analytics tools.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve content performance and digital engagement.
- Support online community engagement and audience interaction across digital platforms.
3. Brand Communication & Visual Identity
- Ensure consistency of brand identity and messaging across all communication materials.
- Develop branded graphics, presentations, infographics, campaign materials, and digital assets.
- Ensure creative materials comply with approved brand guidelines and communication standards.
- Support the development of creative concepts for campaigns, advocacy initiatives, fundraising activities, and stakeholder engagement.
4. Campaigns, Programmes & Events
- Coordinate media coverage of organizational programmes, campaigns, events, and impact activities.
- Develop creative assets for fundraising campaigns, advocacy initiatives, volunteer engagement, and stakeholder communications.
- Collaborate with programme teams to identify, develop, and document compelling stories.
- Support the planning and execution of digital and creative campaigns.
- Provide creative support for events, conferences, programmes, and special initiatives.
5. Corporate Communications & Media Support
- Support the Corporate Communications Manager in developing communication materials and media resources.
- Assist with the preparation of press materials, media kits, newsletters, and other communication resources.
- Develop written content, including captions, blog articles, newsletters, impact stories, and campaign copy.
- Transform programme updates and organizational achievements into compelling communication content.
6. Content Asset & Media Library Management
- Maintain an organized digital archive of photographs, videos, graphics, designs, and other multimedia assets.
- Ensure digital assets are properly categorized, labelled, stored, and easily accessible.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and permissions for the use of photographs, videos, and other media assets.
7. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor and analyse content performance across relevant digital platforms.
- Prepare periodic content and social media performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve audience engagement, reach, and content effectiveness.
- Research emerging digital trends, creative technologies, and platform best practices.
- Experiment with new content formats and storytelling techniques to improve audience engagement.
DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and scheduling content for social media, websites, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
- Designing graphics, presentations, infographics, and branded communication materials.
- Capturing and editing photographs and short-form videos from organizational activities and events.
- Editing videos, reels, animations, and promotional content for multiple digital platforms.
- Writing captions, blog posts, newsletters, impact stories, and other communication materials.
- Collaborating with internal teams to identify and document impactful stories.
- Monitoring social media engagement and identifying emerging trends.
- Tracking content performance using analytics platforms and preparing reports.
- Maintaining and updating the organization's digital media library.
- Contributing creative ideas during campaign planning and communication meetings.
- Coordinating with external designers, photographers, videographers, and creative vendors when required.
- Ensuring all communication materials comply with brand guidelines and organizational messaging.
- Researching emerging content formats, design trends, and platform updates.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc./B.A.) in Mass Communication, Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, Graphic Design, Creative Arts, or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in digital marketing, content marketing, media and communications, or social media management are an advantage.
Professional Experience
- 6–10 years of relevant professional experience in creative media, digital content, communications, social media, or a related field.
- Proven experience in multimedia content creation and digital storytelling.
- Demonstrated experience managing content across multiple digital platforms.
- Experience developing content for campaigns, events, programmes, and organizational initiatives.
- Experience within nonprofit, education, development, or social-impact organizations is an advantage.
