The Knowledge Management Process Owner is responsible for the creation, adoption, and propagation of ITIL best practices. This role is responsible for ensuring that knowledge management processes provide the best value service for our partners. This role is responsible for managing knowledge as assets and control their end-to-end lifecycle, providing controls to access knowledge information and data that is appropriate for each audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proper design, execution, and improvement of the knowledge management processes.
  • Appropriate design, execution, and improvement of the knowledge management processes.
  • Ensure the processes are being carried out in a manner consistent with the design.
  • Responsible for knowledge management as it relates to IT service management and self-service.
  • Contributes to strategic planning and design of all relevant process improvements and change.
  • Contributes to ServiceNow knowledge strategy, direction and prioritization
  • Involved in daily operations of knowledge communication, validation and publishing of knowledge articles
  • Design and authorize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the knowledge processes.
  • Ensure that the knowledge is standardized, fits the requirements of the organization, and is measurable.
  • Act as the expert for the knowledge process.
  • Ensure regular reviews and updates retain the currency and applicability of processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in-lifecycle management of Knowledge management at the enterprise level
  • Ability to retain neutral position during process design, reporting, and continuous improvement
  • Propagate culture of excellence, to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and quality of the Knowledge process
  • Knowledge Subject Matter Expertise in a global support operating environment using matrixed resources
  • An understanding of analytics and associated personal capabilities
  • An understanding of what Business Value is and how to create it
  • Strong customer, communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Business Relationship Management capabilities
  • Proven ability to identify and customize industry best practices to fit the organization.
  • Ability to balance the interest of the enterprise and operational design in continuous improvement activities.
