Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Database Security Management such as account creation, role design, database auditing and wallet maintenance
• Objects Management in terms of code promotions, schema creation and decommission, materialized view refresh, schema refresh, statistics gathering, table purging and archiving
• Database Management includes production and non-production databases monitoring, creation, cloning, decommission, patching, upgrade/downgrade, space maintenance and rebuild for standby database
• Golden gate management, troubleshooting and setting up replication processes such as extract, pump and replicate
• Database troubleshooting on OEM target downs, backup job failure, memory alerts and DR failovers
• Performance tuning management, monitoring active application jobs/queries,
• AWR analysis, statistics maintenance, and SQL tuning
• Disaster recovery planning, testing and support

Requirements:

Must have skills

• Knowledge in Oracle 11g to 19c database administration
• Experience in handling databases in RAC configuration and Exadata environment
• Knowledge and experience in backup, restoration, and data refresh strategies using RMAN and datapump
• Experience in setting up, failing over, and rebuilding standby databases in Data Guard configuration
• Good knowledge in database patching
• Work experience in creation and decommission of Oracle databases
• Knowledgeable in database objects such as tables, indexes and materialized views, including access management and maintenance activities

Nice to have

• Experience in golden gate replication
• Database and SQL tuning
• Shell scripting
• Certification
