KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the establishment of physical security and safety controls, auditing guidelines, physical security and safety standards and procedures to - Assess and mitigate all associated risks in accordance with global company policies and statutory laws
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of safety and security, across all sites, its employees and clients
- Liaison with local government, industry organizations, and relevant law enforcement networks (including but not limited to, PNP, NBI, DOJ, NDRRMC, BFP, PEZA, - Build a strong security and safety organization aligned with local compliance and global corporate entities
- Coordinates with key contacts outside law enforcement agencies and networks within the industry for intelligence information that may have an adverse impact - Work closely with HR, Procurement, Health and Wellness, etc to support security and safety requirements
- Conduct regular and periodic security and safety assessment along with corrective actions to mitigate any risks
- Protection of local and global VIPs (senior executives and clients) in-country
- Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to executive management on security and safety-related matters
- Front any and all relevant internal and statutory audits and compliance initiatives
- Ensures and reviews appropriate deployments levels of trained security personnel and safety officers across all locations
- Formulate and execute physical security and safety programs which includes developing a training program for all staff and any 3rd party service providers
- Lead internal investigations and root cause analysis in partnership with corporate legal and external police agencies
- Own and lead crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery efforts to protect the business, employees and its clients
- Performance management of third-party security and safety service providers
- Develop, monitor and establish reporting of analytical data and metrics to lower or mitigate known risks in accordance with global and client requirements
- Strong fiscal capability by ensuring accurate and timely billing of security guardforce services
TO QUALIFY:
- Graduate of BS Criminology, Safety Management or other related fields
- Must have at least 10 years professional experience in a Physical Security and Safety leadership capacity
- Must have credentials as certified security professional and safety practitioner or equivalent
- Familiar with relevant governing codals and statutory laws (ie RA 11058 DO-198, RA 10173, RA 5487, RA 9514, etc)
- Strong network and relationship management capability in the government, law enforcement and services sector
- Excellent organizational and motivational skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Timely and accurate reportorial capability
- Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
- Occupational Safety & Health Practitioner (DOLE Accredited)
