Overview:
An established and continuously growing Operations & Maintenance company, part of a global leading company, seeks an Scrap Metal Operations Supervisor for its facility in Warsan - Dubai. The primary responsibilities:
- Manage and develop operational activities
- Improvement of operational excellence from scrap metal production to final off takers
- Understand and supervise the industrial partner storage and purification activities of different Nfe and Fe streams, on different sites
- Coordinate the partner activities with the in-house production and on site purification of scrap Fe and Nfe metal streams
- Supervise transportation and logistics, either inland or internationally
- Manage record keeping and validate the product mass balances, specially within the partners yards
- Record keeping of flows and sales between Shoualah and partners
- Understanding and challenging the trading activities of the partners, depending on the quality of Nfe and Fe scrap metals produced, locally or internationally
- Coordinate with in-house international experts to improve the treatment and the sale of products
- A European and Japanese company standers FE and NF metal scrap prosses standers.
The ideal candidate should possess operational experience in scrap metal treatment recycling, understanding mass balances and product management, strong analytical mind set with organizational skills, reporting and communication skills. Computer proficiency.
Mechanical or chemical engineering is a plus.

This position is an opportunity for the good candidate to evolve into an international activity involving metal recycling top technologies and all type of metal trading worldwide.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise day-2-day metal recovery operations from waste to energy scrap metal
- Manage, challenge and support industrial partners activities
- Coordinate with internal experts
- Coordinate transport and logistic between our own scrap metal production and off takers
- Challenge trading activities and revenues from off takers
- Be present quasi permanently within off-takers yard and plant
- Maintain systemic day to day records and data of product mass balance
- Maintains accurate records of all trading, shipping and prospecting activities including closed sales and follow-up activities
- Responsible for administration (trading and transport)
- Investigate and develop potential new off-takers for scrap metals
What You'll Need:
- Recycling Operational recycling experience
- Analytical and practical skills to work in the field
- Teamwork as well as independent initiative required
- Proficient in MS Office programs Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Three to five years metal recycling industry experience preferred
