We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and financial plans.
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenditures and provide actionable insights.
3. Cash Flow Management
- Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage financial transactions effectively.
4. Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements. Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
- Coordinate with external partners, such as banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities, as needed.
5. Collaboration with HR
- Work closely with the HR Officer to manage PAYE remittance, pension contributions, and monthly employee salary payments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in accounting or financial management. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Solid understanding of financial principles, tax regulations, and accounting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High adaptability and eagerness to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
