We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Assist in developing and monitoring annual budgets and financial plans.
  • Analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenditures and provide actionable insights.

3. Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage financial transactions effectively. 

4. Compliance and Auditing

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements. Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit queries.
  • Coordinate with external partners, such as banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities, as needed.

5. Collaboration with HR

  • Work closely with the HR Officer to manage PAYE remittance, pension contributions, and monthly employee salary payments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in accounting or financial management. Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. 
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, tax regulations, and accounting standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High adaptability and eagerness to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
