Description of Contract Opportunity
SDL has a multinational pharmaceutical client in need of a Project Manager to help support a Global DE&I initiative. The goal of this global initiative is to get to the point where they are able to understand diversity in each region in a way that is compliant with local laws, rules, and regulations. This individual will help move things forward and serve as the point person driving this effort. The project manager should have strong global experience and stakeholder management skills, as they will be interfacing with Global HR Leads and coordinating across multiple time zones and cultures.
This contract position is full-time, 40 hours/week for 12 months.
Note: Part-time to begin and then ramping up to full-time. This position will have flexible hours to accommodate time-zone differences, as needed
Qualifications
- Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required
- Required Minimum Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of appropriate experience
Required Skills:
- Must have strong project management experience (change management experience is a plus)
- Background in Human Capital, HR, and/or DE&I
- Experience engaging with Global Leads/stakeholders
- Ability to effectively coordinate with individuals in multiple time zones and cultures
- Adept at facilitating cross-functional collaboration and engagement with leadership across the organization
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Ability to easily package and present information in a consumable manner at the executive level
- Must be a resilient and a "go-getter", willing to roll-up your sleeves and be hands-on
- Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Ability to collaborate to build successful relationships
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Targeted Pay Rate
$600/day
