Senior Urban Designer (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, monitor, execute, and evaluate projects from initial proposal to final client presentation.
• Participate in the urban design process, including zoning, circulation, and block planning.
• Mentor and develop team members.
• Implement Urban Design and Landscape initiatives as directed by the Chief of Urban Design and Landscape.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field, and/or Master's degree in Urban Design. A relevant certification is a plus;
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in urban design;
• Experience leading teams/projects and collaborating with diverse stakeholders;
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS, and other design tools;
• Understanding of data analysis and strategy development in regional design principles;
• Strong presentation, report writing, and negotiation skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-disciplinary team;
• Immediate availability;
• Portfolio submission required.
