Position Description:
- Lead the QA Automation team, setting goals, providing mentorship, and fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.
Build and manage the product support process for managing defects, including reporting.
Plan and execute the automation strategy for system testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and efficient execution.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (in JavaScript and Python ) to ensure the reliability and performance of our products.
Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure that automated tests are run regularly and failures are addressed promptly to maintain high test quality standards.
Report on test coverage, automation metrics, and overall QA progress, ensuring transparency across teams and stakeholders.
- 4+ years of experience in QA automation, with hands-on experience leading teams and projects.
Expertise in building and maintaining test automation projects using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar tools.
Experience with complex or dynamic DOM structures Understanding web page rendering and building concepts (locators, events, rendering etc.).
Knowledge in SDLC processes and tools: git, CI/CD pipelines, build and release processes.
Familiarity with infrastructure (Grids, CI\CD systems, containers, k8s).
Curious, able to work with details and to help debug and troubleshoot issues.
Strong communication and leadership skills, Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, share knowledge.
Able to excel under a high load.
Fast learner
Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent training in the area of QA.
