OLYMPIC PRODUCTS, LLC. is a prestigious joint venture between INOAC Corporation and Woodbridge. We are globally recognized for our manufacturing and fabrication of flexible polyurethane foam.
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Greensboro, North Carolina, team. As the Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the general accounting function of our plant facility, contributing significantly to our financial operations.
What You Will Do:
- Understand the requirements for ISO 9001 and the Olympic Quality Policy.
- Monitoring daily cash activity and cash balances, as well as forecasting future cash balances
- Preparing bank reconciliations and confirming balances to the general ledger
- Tracking and reporting capital expenditures
- Preparing and entering all journal vouchers
- Maintaining required prepaid and accrued balances and reporting on their contents
- Matching invoices to receiving documents and recording expenses in the correct general ledger account, as well as paying invoices based on agreed-upon terms
- Preparing and confirming reconciliations of the accounts payable and receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger
- Preparing monthly related party transactions and coordinating the resulting balances with all associated parties
- Maintaining records on all LTAs and ensuring timely payments
- Working directly with the Plant Controller to prepare and understand the monthly financial statements
- Preparing the annual audit binder and Annual Tax Package
- BOM Standard Cost Roll-Up
- System Vendor/1099 Management and Annual 1099 Filing
- Monthly Sales and Use Tax Filing
- Annual Report Filings, including Property Tax Filing and BEA Filing
- Working directly with external auditors
- Other duties as assigned by the employee's supervisor

As the successful candidate, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and three (3) to five (5) years of general accounting experience in a manufacturing accounting environment, specifically in producing flexible polyurethane foam.
- Thorough understanding of the accounting modules of CMS software and standard costing.
- CPA certification is preferred; eight (8+) years of experience will be considered in place of CPA certification.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Strong Excel skills and basic Microsoft Word skills
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts.
