Our client is a global leader in high-voltage (HV) electrification solutions for electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (xEVs). With a strong focus on R&D, production, and technical support for critical HV componentsincluding on-board chargers (OBC), DC-DC converters, and invertersthey partner closely with French automotive manufacturers and suppliers to drive sustainable mobility in Europe.
They are seeking a dedicated Technical Engineer based full-time in Paris to act as the key on-site liaison for their French clients. Your role will be critical to ensuring smooth technical alignment, product validation, and project launches, directly supporting our clients EV electrification goals in France.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver first-level technical support to French automotive clients (manufacturers, tier-1 suppliers), resolving initial queries on HV components (OBC, DC-DC converters, inverters) and escalating complex issues to the internal technical team when needed.
  • Collaborate with the  clients to develop validation plans (Design Validation/Process Validation) aligned with their product requirements and specifications; coordinate cross-functional validation testing activities on the client companys behalf.​
  • Oversee the client company's product testing at its clients sites,including test setup, data logging/traceability, and debugging for both bench tests and on-vehicle system tests.​
  • Participate in technical review meetings to ensure alignment on technical objectives and drive convergence on solutions.​
  • Provide timely on-site support during the client companys production launch phases, as well as 0km (pre-delivery) and field quality issue resolution for its factory and after-sales teams.​
  • Conduct competitive landscape research; support the client company in evaluating its product offerings and develop collateral to highlight key differentiators from competitors.

Requirements

  • Masters degree (BAC + 5) in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with preference for specializations in Power Electronics, Mechanics, or Embedded Electronics.​
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in the EV/xEV industry, with proven expertise in high-voltage (HV) electrification components (e.g., OBC, DCDC converters, inverters).​
  • Strong working knowledge of testing and debugging methodologies; proficiency in CAN bus systems and related tools (e.g., CANalyzer, CANoe).​
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a track record of collaborating effectively in multi-domain and cross-cultural teams.​
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English; proficiency in French is a plus.
