Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented US Supply Chain expert to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations in the United States.
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. This role entails managing various aspects of the supply chain process to ensure that customer demands are met, which includes responsibilities such as order fulfillment, material planning, assembly processes, inbound/outbound logistics, and inventory control.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional, Just-In-Time services that exceed expectations.
- Maintain effective inventory control and accurate tracking of stock for both customer needs and our internal warehouse operations.
- Develop strategic logistics plans to optimize truck loading utilization and enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement intelligent operational strategies to reduce the costs associated with warehouse processes, including picking and packing, pallet regrouping, and kitchen/assembly activities.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and effective use of the ERP system (such as SAP or AX) for all supply chain-related functions.
- Foster collaborative relationships within our team to secure a reliable supply chain and ensure consistent supply availability.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or logistics operations, with a preference for candidates who have backgrounds in freight forwarding, distribution, warehousing, or related industries.
- Strong hands-on skills with meticulous attention to detail; proficient in data analysis.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and communicate well with individuals from diverse nationalities.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high levels of commitment and speed.
- Demonstrates customer orientation coupled with sound business acumen.
- Takes accountability for responsibilities and succeeds under pressure.
- Willingness to travel frequently both domestically within the U.S. and internationally.
