Our client is a global high-tech enterprise specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, and advanced mechatronics assembly integration. Catering to global industrial leaders, their products are widely utilized in critical, high-precision sectors such as medical imaging, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, rail transit, and clean energy.To sustain their commitment to a "Zero-Defect" culture and support their rapid global supply chain expansion, they are seeking an experienced, visionary Head of Quality to lead their comprehensive quality department.

As the Head of Quality, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end Quality Management System (QMS). You will lead a high-performing team to oversee quality assurance and quality control across all stages of production—from raw material sourcing and precision fabrication (cutting, bending, welding, coating) to complex box-build assembly.The ideal candidate must possess deep technical expertise in the precision sheet metal industry, capable of handling tolerance stacking on large complex assemblies and satisfying rigorous international standards.

Responsibilities

  • QMS Leadership & Strategy: Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the company's Quality Management Systems in alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.
  • End-to-End Quality Operations: Direct all operations for Incoming (IQC), In-Process (IPQC), and Final/Outgoing (FQC/OQC) quality gates.
  • Process & Fabrication Inspection: Ensure all fabrication procedures conform to blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and structural design specifications. Mitigate dimensional deviations, weld defects, and surface coating failures.
  • Customer & Supplier Quality Management: Act as the primary technical interface for international customer audits, investigate product complaints, and drive Root Cause & Corrective Actions (RCCA / CAPA).
  • Data-Driven Improvement: Leverage core quality tools (SPC, MSA) and ERP/smart factory systems to analyze data trends, reduce internal scrap rates, and eliminate process waste.
  • Team Development: Manage, mentor, and upscale the technical capabilities of quality engineers, inspectors, and metrology technicians.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related STEM discipline.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of comprehensive quality management experience strictly within the precision sheet metal fabrication / CNC processing / structural contract manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Domain: Strong understanding of metal forming, robotic welding (EN15085 requirements), precision stamping, chemical surface treatments, and assembly tolerances.
  • Methodologies: Certified or highly proficient in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and Core Quality Tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA).
  • Audit Expertise: Proven track record of leading and successfully passing stringent customer audits from multi-national corporations (MNCs) in medical, semiconductor, or transit fields.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English and Mandarin (both written and verbal) to effortlessly liaise with international clients and local production teams.
