Job Title: Business Analyst 

Industry: Investment and Venture Capital Company. 

Location: Karachi (near Main Korangi Road)

Salary: Market-based

Job Timings: Monday to Friday, half day Saturday.

Experience: 0-3 years after graduation

Education: BSc. in finance/accounting(preferred), engineering, supply chain, or social sciences

Preferred Skills: Financial analysis & planning, accounting, financial modeling, dashboarding, presentation skills, project management, and leadership experience in AIESEC or other societies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial planning, analysis, and monthly reporting and dashboards of portfolio companies
  • Closing of accounts, audit as member of the portfolio finance team
  • Prepare financial information, board packs for investors or Board meetings
  • Quantitative and qualitative evaluation of projects, new investment opportunities
  • Provide day-to-day execution support to the Chairman
  • Assist in preparing Excel models, budgets, memos, and legal documentation
  • Write proposals and manage partnerships/outreach
  • Research, plan, and design projects; assist staff in creating project evaluation methods
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals, and ensure timely completion of goals in project management
  • Ensure high-quality and timely inputs, maintain the project's strategic vision, and ensure activities result in intended outputs in a cost-effective manner
  • Plan and support administrative/marketing activities for all projects including social media campaign
  • Manage and coordinate all meeting requirements including monitoring meeting diaries, making meeting appointments, and preparation of facilities
  • Correspond and liaise with internal & external stakeholders

Personal Characteristics: Execution-focused, highly numerate, well-organized and good communication skills.

Must-Have: Excellent command over written English communication. presentation skills, confidence and ability to manage high pressure situations and multiple stakeholders.
