Job Title: Industrial Cleaning Team Lead

Salary: £13.65 per hour 
Expected Hours: 25 hrs per week 

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Team Leader for the Industrial Cleaner Department to join its existing team in Greater Manchester. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Supervise and coordinate a team of industrial cleaners, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to required standards. 
  • Carry out a variety of industrial cleaning tasks, including plant shutdowns, high-level cleaning, and sanitation schedules. 
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to the team. 
  • Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed, conducting risk assessments where necessary. 
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work, incidents, and any required corrective actions. 
  • Train new team members and oversee their development. 
  • Liaise with management and supervisor to ensure sufficient resources are allocated for each job. 

Full driving licence is required, and company vehicle will be provided. 

Must be able to pass Police vetting and a DBS.  

£13.65 per hour Monday to Friday Days 

£18.00 per hour Monday to Sunday Nights. 

£15.00 Saturday Day Minimum 

£18.00 Sunday Day Minimum

Job Type: Full-time - Contracted to 25hrs per week, however willing to work 50hrs per week depending on Industrial Jobs.

Job Requirements 

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in industrial cleaning and at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Vetting: DBS and Police Vetting Required.
  • Qualifications: IOSH and IPAF certifications are desirable but not essential. 
  • Licence: Full UK driving licence required (company vehicle provided). 
  • Flexibility: Ability to work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend/Night work as required. 
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Work Location: On the road
