Sensa6 is a new venture that delivers data science products to critical infrastructure companies. We are a product-first organization that aims to bridge the gap between data science model development and operational integration. Founded while in the entrepreneurship, energy, and sustainability programs at Northwestern University, the founding team is focused on developing data science products to address critical systems reliability, resiliency, and safety issues exacerbated by climate change.
Sensa6 Force focuses on Palantir Foundry deployment services for critical infrastructure organizations. We help companies build in-house data science products. Responsibilities
- Shares and collaborates with other data science professionals
- Gathers, cleans, transforms, and/or reduces data from dissimilar sources from across organizations with business partners to advance business processes, based on analytical findings
- Applies machine learning and other analytical modeling methods to develop robust and reliable analytical models, including visualizations, within organization's development environment
- Documents data sources, methodology, and model evaluation metrics
- Serves as the technical lead for development of high complexity models
- Assesses business implications associated with modeling assumptions, inputs, methodologies, technical implementation, analytic procedures and processes, and advanced data analysis
- Works with partner organization's subject matter experts to understand application and potential of data analytic solutions to create value for end-users
- Develop with practical application, operational integration, and usability in mind
- Presents findings and makes recommendations for data science activities to senior management
Requirements
- Degree in data science, analytics, or an analytical field
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in data science development
- Experience with relational (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
- Experience with machine learning feature engineering
- Knowledge of data architecture, and design methodologies
- Familiar with agile methodologies
- Willingness to learn the Palantir Foundry platform
