Sekolah Pelita Harapan is a group of five International Christian schools located in the heart of Indonesia - the city of Jakarta. We are grounded in an Evangelical, Reformed theology that seeks truth wherever it may be found and recognizes that all truth is God's. Using the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge programs allows us to develop mature, thoughtful students who are committed to life-long learning and who utilize inquiry to search out the truth.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to address personal, academic, and social issues.
• Develop and implement student development programs on mental health, emotional well-being, and peer relationships.
• Assist students with academic goal setting, course selection, and career planning.
• Monitor student progress and collaborate with teachers to provide academic interventions.
• Offer crisis intervention and support for students during emergencies.
• Act as a liaison between students, parents, and faculty, fostering collaboration for student support.
• Lead initiatives on bullying prevention, inclusion, and substance abuse awareness.
• Maintain confidential student records and document counseling sessions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• Previous experience in school counseling or educational settings.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and mental health resources.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (preferred).
