Job Responsibilities
- Supports students with diverse learning needs through individualized, small-group, and classroom-based instruction.
- Develops, implements, and monitors Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and tiered interventions within the MTSS framework.
- Uses assessments and data to guide instructional decisions and adjust student goals.
- Collaborates with teachers, parents, and specialists to support inclusive classroom practices.
- Provides consultation to teachers on differentiation, accommodations, and effective strategies for diverse learners.
Job Requirements
- Degree, license, or endorsement in Education (Special Education preferred); Master's degree beneficial.
- Successful teaching experience, preferably in Special Education or a Learning Support setting.
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs, assessment practices, and differentiated instruction.
- Experience collaborating with teachers and supporting inclusive classroom practices; co-teaching experience preferred.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills within a multicultural environment.
- Ability to use data to inform instructional planning and decisions within an MTSS framework.
