Pay: $100k - $110k Annually + 30% Annual Bonus

Total OTE: $130,000 - $143,000 annually

About the Role

Our clients Project Management Office (PMO) partners with various internal stakeholders within development, construction, design, property management, marketing, sales and customer care to set and maintain project management standards to ensure the successful execution of diverse real estate projects and various corporate initiatives. Our real estate projects range from marquee high-rises in downtown Vancouver, master-planned communities in Squamish, to commercial and residential rental assets throughout the lower mainland.

What you'll be doing

The Project Manager is accountable for planning, overseeing and leading a portfolio of projects from ideation to completion, ensuring each project is delivered with excellence, on-time and on-budget. Reporting to the Director of Project Management, your average day will involve the following:

  • High-touch relationship management and coordination amongst internal and external resources;
  • Defining project scope and objectives through gathering requirements with relevant stakeholders;
  • Managing the entire project life cycle from project initiation, setup, design, planning, implementation and completion;
  • Developing a detailed project schedule to monitor and track project progress;
  • Influencing and managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project budget using appropriate verification techniques;
  • Communicating the status of projects at a strategic level, and escalating where there are critical dependencies or cross-functional conflicts;
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation including, but not limited to, project charter, project schedule, WBS, meeting hygiene (minutes, agenda), status reports, change requests, issue/risk log, postmortem reviews, etc.;
  • Reinforcing project management processes (including prioritization, governance and data-driven decision making) across the business to help increase awareness and adoption while proactively seeking opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5)+ years of project management experience across multiple projects with a progressively increased scope and complexity in projects;
  • Completion of post-secondary education in business administration or a related field;
  • Formal Project Management training and/or certification (PMP Required), ITIL, Scrum, Agile, Kanban, would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated capability leveraging project management tools and software (MS Project is preferred);
  • Ability to effectively understand and define business requirements;
  • Excellent change-management and leadership ability reflected through professional experience in environments that have undergone significant transformation;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively build relationships and manage communications both up and down.
