Job Title: Senior UX/UI Business Analyst
Location: 100% Remote within Canada (You must currently live in Canada)
Compensation: $64 - $70/ hour ($120k - $132k- gross annual pay based on FT hours)
Type/ Term: Full Time/ 6 Mo Contract to start. Highly likely to receive extension requests.

Our government client in Toronto is in need of an experienced, Senior UI/UX Business Analyst to join their established team, to help us expand, design, and improve our online programs, for both web and mobile environments. This role is 100% Remote for qualified candidates currently living in Canada.
About the Role
Do you have a background in programming and CSS experience? Do you have high quality design experience that goes beyond graphics alone? Do you have strong user research/ journey experience?
We are looking for someone who can:
- Translate business and data requirements into specifications sufficient for designing appropriate technology solutions, leveraging processes such as prototyping design and research workshops.
- Is experienced in designing online programs with an emphasis on the emotional aspects of human experience keeping AODA in mind.
- Who is experience in designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mockups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
Requirements/ qualifications
- Experience in usability testing and accessibility compliance (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA))
- Portfolio of recent work demonstrating UI/UX expertise in designing web reports.
- Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance
- Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools
- Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate use of web development technologies
- Experience in designing online programs with emphasis in the emotional aspects of human experience
- Experience conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Experience designing the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience, iterate upon it in accordance with user-testing
- Experience designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user flows, user journeys, mockups and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
- Experience facilitating the clients product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products and optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
- Experience identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions
- Experience making strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
- Experience gathering user feedback to configure existing interfaces
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities and client relationship management experience
- Knowledge of network security and network protocols
- Strong User research/journey exp
