Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer - Digital Imagery -B2B/ B2E 

  • Type: Full Time/ Permanent
  • Location: Hybrid Schedule for candidates residing in the Boston, MA area.
  • Travel: 10% travel required within the US
  • Pay: $90,000 + uncapped commission
  • Potential OTE: up to $200k +1st year and up to $500k + subsequent years

About the Position

Our client provides enterprise-class dynamic imaging services to online retailers, Web-to-print vendors, custom product manufacturers, and more. We are searching for a full-time Technical Sales Engineer to join their growing sales team.  While this is a hybrid position, you must be able to train in our office, as new hire and then commute to this location for regular in-person meetings comfortably. You can expect to work on site 2-3 days per week once you're trained.

What you will be doing:

  • Drive sales in the Enterprise and Fortune 500 markets
  • Handle new business development, account growth, and partnership opportunities.
  • Become an expert in our OS solutions to generate business in new accounts, build partnerships, and upsell existing accounts
  • Support less technical sales colleagues in technical presentations to prospects
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach throughout the sales cycle to understand customers and prospects business pains and their perception of potential solutions
  • Research prospects for new business opportunities within our main vertical markets
  • Coordinate large customer projects with external partners and develop new partner relationships
  • Provide feedback, assist with sales planning, and develop detailed presentations that show clients your product info, pricing, and benefits
  • Simplify technical terms during product demonstrations and customer conversations
  • Propose new product ideas to management based on client feedback and market trends
  • Write reports and liaise with the development team regarding issues, foreseeable problems, and practical solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams on a go-to-market strategy and grow brand awareness across end customers and partners
  • Manage and forecast sales activity in HubSpot
  • Take ownership of sales opportunities from qualification through close

What you must have:

  • Experience building a book of recurring revenue while providing account management to upsell our existing clients. 
  • Experience in SaaS, cloud, or server-side delivery methods
  • Strong background in digital imagery, web development, and HTML
  • Experience in the e-commerce industry
  • Willingness and ability to travel to clients, prospects, and conferences (~10% of the time)
  • Must have the ability to prospect by email, network, and convert outreach to actual sales activities with a proven record of finding new sales prospects
  • Experience delivering engaging demonstrations to C-level executives and prospects
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn, coachable, and has a growth mindset
