About the Role:

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our applications meet the highest quality standards through thorough manual testing.
  • Experience in test automation will be considered an advantage. Youll work closely with our development and product teams to identify issues early and deliver a seamless experience to end users.

What Youll Do:

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and mobile platforms.
  • Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, and integration testing across various environments.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure requirements are fully tested and validated.
  • Participate in sprint reviews, test planning, and release readiness checks.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining automated test scripts (approx. 30% of time) using frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
  • Execute API testing using Postman or similar tools.
  • Support continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and documentation.

What Were Looking For:

  • 3-4 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Postman, and TestRail (or similar).
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience testing mobile apps (Android).
  • Familiarity with SQL for backend validation.
  • Exposure to performance or security testing tools.
