Rad Tech

Seaux Recruit is looking for a Full Time Rad Tech who is well versed in high quality patient care and treatment planning for one of our clients. In this role, the Rad Tech will perform radiographic examinations while following radiology and safety protocols. This role will also require consistent reviewing of patient history and physician's orders.

Shift: 4:30pm- 2am ( Tuesday- Friday)

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice
• Prepares equipment and supplies
• Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary
• Provides action oriented methods in resolving image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure
• Reports scan results

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Program or Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (ARRT)
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position
