Head of Corporate Development

Our client is a rapidly growing national professional services organization seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Head of Corporate Development to lead acquisition initiatives and support long-term growth objectives.

Reporting directly to executive leadership, this individual will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and executing strategic acquisitions and partnerships. The position will also help shape and scale the organization's corporate development function while partnering with senior leaders across finance, operations, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, source, and evaluate acquisition opportunities aligned with company growth objectives
Lead financial analysis, valuation modeling, due diligence, and transaction execution
Develop and maintain relationships with industry leaders, advisors, and potential acquisition targets
Negotiate transaction terms and coordinate deal processes from initial outreach through closing
Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives
Assist with long-range planning, capital allocation, and investment analysis
Support integration planning and post-acquisition value creation efforts
Build and refine scalable corporate development processes and best practices

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in corporate development, mergers & acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, strategic finance, or related fields
Demonstrated success leading complex transactions from sourcing through closing
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation skills
Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Experience working within fast-growing, multi-location organizations
Strong communication skills and executive presence
MBA or equivalent advanced business experience preferred

Compensation

Base salary approximately $250,000
Performance-based bonus opportunity
Remote flexibility within the United States
